Animations

Hey guys. I know basic KS animations like rotate, rotate. I know that more complex movements can be made by joining basic movements, but are there practical ways to give a command like spiraling, zigzag, for example?

Are there movement libraries that can be downloaded as materials, environments?

I don’t think you can, maybe a nice one for the features/feedback category. I also checked if you could script animations in Keyshot but don’t think you can.

What you can also try is keyframe animations, must say last time I tried it was not real stable but my entire scene acted a bit weird. Basically you make a keyframe and it will get the position/scale/rotation and than you advance some frame, make a keyframe again and scale/rotate where you want it to be and the transition it creates by itself.

But instead of f.e. easeOut/In etc it would be nice if you could also say ‘bounce’ or ‘elastic’. That makes the animation look way more complex while the work is the same. I used GSAP 3 Is Available Now! - Blog - GreenSock a lot while doing internet sites (mainly Flash in those days) but that has all kind of variations on ‘EaseIn/Out’ which made it look awesome while still simple to create.
